What is different?


Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it You’re going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world? ” Jesus answered, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
John 14:22‭-‬23 HCSB

These verses come out of a beautiful chapter in which Jesus is sharing His heart and truths with His disciples. We are His disciples and we need to partake of this feast. Judas wondered what Jesus was going to share with them that the unbelievers would not hear. I wonder if he expected to hear this?

Loving Jesus means keeping covenant wirh Him, treasuring His word, living His word. There are times we walk in this teaching and tumes we dont.

Having just travelled for 24 hours i am weary and not very gracious. I have a place to go to be refreshed and refulled with abounding grace. I am grateful that the Lord makes His home with me. I am grateul He loves me. His love is greater than any trial. Amen!

This morning i was not very graciois as i went to breakfast jist aftsr 10 and was told they were shut (they had been open since 5 the man said.) I wanted to tell him my story but i knew i needed to come aside and refresh my spirit with the word and my body with a coffee. All good!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
