All about Love

For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3:17 HCSB

There are so many harsh religions but only one saviour bring freedom- Christ. The Jews looked forward to a saviour but when he came they rejected Him. We must be careful not to reject our hope because He is not packaged how we think He should be. I am reading a book written by a young Muslim woman who became a Christian. The Muslim world is an oppressive and heartless world. In Nepal, a country I love, the majority of the people are Hindu. This religion dies not give a saviour, only a way to perform.

Christ came ro bring freedom from oppression. Over the centuries there are those who say they represent Him and have created an oppressive regime, one He does not endorse. Scripture tells us: He who the Son sets free is free indeed. If you read the first four books in the New Testament you see Jesus and get to know what He was like. He opposed religion with love. He raised the dead, healed the sick and freely taught the multitudes. This is the Jesus I serve.

As the previous verse of the above states:“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 HCSB

We are eternal beings. When our time on earth is over we will go into eternity. Only those who know Him here will know Him and inhabit His kingdom there. It would be good to get to know the giver of life now. As we celebrate His first coming this Christmas, give Him room in your hearts. Amen!
