My Body Rest Secure

Therefore my heart is glad and my spirit rejoices; my body also rests securely. For You will not abandon me to Sheol; You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay. You reveal the path of life to me; in Your presence is abundant joy; in Your right hand are eternal pleasures.
Psalms 16:9‭-‬11 HCSB

I am so glad I have the Lord. Yesterday I had a dolefull day endeavouring to allow my body to heal. I even managed a short walk down the dusty road to the shops. I had bought a warm top at a shop and left my cardigan there. The lovely ladies kept it for me. I went to the makeshift chemist and bought a mask. Most Nepalis here water masks as thr pollution is so great. Next i turned around and made my way back dodging newly dug holes in the road, dogs, motorbikes, cars, trucks, buses and people.

I had been recommended to buy a few Nepali dresses as they cover more of my legs they I am used to showing in Australia. I met a delightful seamstress who's command of English is not the best, but we managed, somehow, to communicate. I bought two dresses, one needed altering and she asked me to retun at 5. When I returned her 14 y of son was there. His command of English was good. One of the main things they wanted to know was: 'are you a Christian'. I said 'yes' and they broke into smiles. They had found a foreigner who loved their Lord.

When air returned to the United Vision complex I began to feel unwell again and it wasn't long before bouts of diarrhoea and vomiting descended. Pest! However, I kept confessing: ' the way out is through!' My belly had been distended for two days and I knew some bug had set up camp in the middle somewhere. It had to be expelled.

I was visited by two men from United Vision inquiring if I was well enough to be take on the planned journey to the villages, I said, 'Let's see how I am in the morning.' Well the morning is upon me and air am going nowhere, just yet. Another day of rest and recuperation. It is quiet and a tad boring but I have a book I am reading about Asset Based Community Development. It is dry but insightful.

I hope.there might be some podcasts for me to listen to. I live for a fresh word. The word of God is sharper than any two edged sword, it is living and active. Hebrews 4:12. Amen!
