He Answers
The Lord is near all who call out to Him, all who call out to Him with integrity. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry for help and saves them.
Psalms 145:18-19 HCSB
I can testify this is true. After being through a crushing week, financially, telling the Lord it is His turn and having nowhere else to go I received an email, out of the blue, last night at 8pm. 'We have discovered that you have been underpaid commission from a certain client's business since 2008. We have rectified the payment in your next commission statement.' Now, I was gobsmacked, to say the least.
Earlier in the week I met with a client who had a trauma policy and had suffered a trauma back in 2013 and failed to claim. At that time she was not my client. I found out she could have claimed and didn't because she didn't think she could. When she came to see me she thought: " if I can get $5,000 that would be good." I gave her the news she was going to receive around $160,000. She was gobsmacked! This lady badly needed this payout. I was so blessed to be a part of the solution.
I had cried out to the Lord, kept my faith, oiled my face and kept rejoicing. On the surface there was little to rejoice over but I was exultant. This has been the chalkenge: to rejoice and show it, never once bemoaning my plight but rejoicing. It has been very hard, but by God's grace doable.
Today I am having a garage sale for Nepal. I have brought together things I am willing to part with and discovered there is much. I pray the Lord's blessing on my effort. The orphanage needs registration and have to pay 50,000 with various departments to obtain their licence. The next step is buying land. Here we will need a miracle. Amen!
