Shine Your Light

In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.

You are important and have a job to do. You are meant to shine. Let you light shine. If you are feeling broken right now, you are in the best place to shine. Broken vessels can allow the light of Christ to shine through. People need to know Christ when they are broken themselves and if they see Him in you, then they are drawn to the light. Broken people need to hear from broken people as they understand brokenness and have compassion.

When I am victorious and crowing over my victory you may be very broken and needing my understanding. Paul said: For me to live is Christ, to die is gain.' Philippians 1:21. I live because of His strength in me. I live because He raised me up. I live because of His Holy Spirit who dwells in me. He is my strength and song. Amen!
