Warfare

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
Ephesians 6:12 HCSB

In this chapter, the final chapter of the book of Ephesians Paul firstly tells his readers to obey authority, starting with children and then slaves. Then he goes on the say:

Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.
Ephesians 6:10‭-‬11

What we face in life is not the issue. We are in a war and daily must prepare for the battle in that day. We must put on, put on, put on (you got it?) the full armour of God so that we can stand against the tactics of the devil.

Satan does not rest in his mandate to maim, kill and destroy. Your mandate is to stand against him and show Christ as you do. The armour of God is: truth, righteousness, readiness for the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and finally the sword of the Spirit.

We are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Stand in His victory, walk in His victory and show forth the kingdom of God until He comes. Amen!
