Do Not Repay Evil for Evil

See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.

"I will get you back!" These words we have said and heard thousands of time
Retribution! You touch my land and I will touch yours. We are seeing this played out with President Trump and Kim Jon Un. Threats and counter threats, leading to war.

When we look at all the results of fights like this, many innocent die. Road rage is common in Australia. People become so enraged by the acts or omissions of others. Yet, if we pull back, cool down and look for the bigger picture, what do we see? Puppet strings! We have been manipulated to do the dirty work for another malevolent enemy.

How do Christians avoid being caught up in this mess? Prayer, reading their bibles, fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Staying soaked in Him prevents the strings being attached in the first place.

What is good for others? Patience, kindness, goodness, self-control are a very good start. Grace and mercy are a good follow-up. I do not have these in my flesh, but the Holy Spirit who resides in Me does, abundantly! Amen!
