Suffering as Discipline

Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline — which all receive — then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Hebrews 12:7‭-‬8 HCSB

Some of the things that cause me to suffer are actually me not getting what I want or desire or I am told to wait. Not too bad! Basically it means: grow a little first!

Other things that cause me to suffer is the removal of people I care about. I then have to learn to lean into my God for His sustenance.

Both of these things hurt but both make me stronger. Therefore I should rejoice! Amen!
