Nothing is Too difficult For You

Oh, Lord God ! You Yourself made the heavens and earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You!
Jeremiah 32:17 HCSB

Jeremiah is locked up by the king for prophesying destruction. The people in Jerusalem are into Baal worship and God is not happy. In the midst of all this God tells Jeremiah:"Your cousin is going to come to you and ask you to buy a piece of land, but it!" Jeremiah asks why and the Lord tells him He will scatter the people and send them into captivity but after a time He would restore them and establish them in the land. At this Jeremiah says the above prayer.

Remember Jeremiah is locked up, yet He has enough silver to buy land. He was financially ok. However, his priesthood was not accepted because he spoke truth instead of the lies the people wanted. Jeremiah is faithful to the Lord. He is the Lord's man.

As we face whatever is besetting us today we too can pray this prayer: "nothing is too difficult for you!" Amen!
