Faith is Living

Now to the one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed. But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous, his faith is credited for righteousness.
Romans 4:4‭-‬5

Working for salvation and justification is so draining yet faith is so liberating. When the Father sent His Son He was doing away with self-effort. Now, we are justified by faith.

God is so good! His ways are perfect. The grace I receive I did not deserve through works but rather it is the result of faith.

Faith is so much more alive than works. Faith is made alive by the living word of God. Amen!
