The Thief

A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.
John 10:10 HCSB

The third condemns, manipulates, controls. Jesus doesn't do any of these. His comviction is gentle, leading to life. If you are suffering mental anguish for things done, this is not Christ, it is either yourself or the thief.

I remember the night God showed me my sin, it lead me to repentance and a relationship with Him. Yet I also know.the work of the enemy. If I am awaken in the night and troubled by thought that I should have done this or that better and judging and second guessing, I cannot blame God for this.

The only reason God shows us a matter is to lead us to repentance not to brow beat us with condemnation. We must be wary of condemning thoughts and not submit to them, rebuke them. Amen!
