I Must Do What I See the Father Doing

Then Jesus replied, “I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He is doing, and He will show Him greater works than these so that you will be amazed.
John 5:19‭-‬20 HCSB

I think it is amazing that Jesus would say this: He only did what He saw the Father doing. Of all people I would have thought Jesus could act in Himself, after all He was God in the flesh. What can I learn from this?

What could I possibly do that would pass as ok for an individual to do apart from what I saw God doing? I, like most people would say: "How do I see what the Father is doing?"

My quest is to see, actually see, what the Father is doing! I think that is an adventure all in itself! Amen!
