Angels of God

Then the Angel of God, who was going in front of the Israelite forces, moved and went behind them. The pillar of cloud moved from in front of them and stood behind them. It came between the Egyptian and Israelite forces. The cloud was there in the darkness, yet it lit up the night. So neither group came near the other all night long.

God moved mightily on behalf of a grumbling rabble, not because they deserved it, not because they had faith, but because He is good and loved His people.

If God will have angels in front and behind His people, how much more will He do for me? I must trust Him and be quiet. He has great plans and if I will just bide my time and keep my mouth, I will see His glory. How good is that?

I can't go around faithlessly sputtering fear or disbelief. Disbelief is a big blockage to seeing the absolute goodness of God. The first generation of this tribe of people did not enter into the promised land because of unbelief. Those who went in saw the mighty hand of God.

I want to see the mighty hand of God! Amen!
