Come Boldly
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.
Hebrews 4:15-16 HCSB
We must behave as little children, loved by our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our older brother. We are not expected to be perfect to come. Little children are not born perfect, with their lives together, however as they obey their parents, they mature into sons and daughtets of renown.
Yesterday one of my grandsons had a birthday. his mum had been in the US on a course and came home in time for his birthday. His older brother cooked his birthday dinner. That brother is 12 and He cooked home made pizza and pavlova. Quite a feat for a young man. I was impressed. I am sure it was a real birthday treat.
I am watching my grandsons and granddaughters being trained in good behaviour. It is important that training occurred. I am proud of my children as they are good parents.
Even moreso is our heavenly Father a good Father. We can approach Him in confidence. His love for us allows us to come to His throne room with free access. Jesus, our high priest did this for us. What a saviour! Amen!
