Dead to sin??

Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then He who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through His Spirit who lives in you.

Although the body is dead, as in spiritually dead, it sure can be a hassle sometimes. Today has been a stressful day. I have found myself quite cross and iirritable at times and having to go back and apologise for my sharpness. Yes this dead body is a pest, it stinks.

However, I had a win this morning. In a difficult relationship with family I succeeded in blessing. Then I entered a fight in a business relationship, where I am fighting for my integrity. I am fighting for what is right and in the process stressing a relationship. Oh bother!

I took my mum grocery shopping over lunch and had an altercation with a man at Coles and then realised I was wrong. I apologised thoroughly. He did not need my bad attitude.

I am grateful I can apologise at least. I would rather not be irritated first. People do not need to be abused by a grouch.

I pray my God sanctifies me through and through and apprehend my soul. Amen!
