My Safety

You are my shelter and my shield; I put my hope in Your word.
Psalms 119:114 HCSB

It one thing to say:"You are my shelter and shield" but it is another to avail ourselves of that protection. When I think of shelter I think of being caught in a severe storm and not having an umbrella or raincoat. You Are soaked through and cold. What do you look for? Shelter!

We are currently in a storm and our world's foundations are fragmenting, the world's systems are failing and people are killing themselves and others. What is the answer? Where is there shelter in the storm?

Where is there stability? In God alone! He is our safety! He is our shield! We can trust Him. Amen!

Now, if I am caught unprepared in a storm and I see shelter nearby, do I stand in the rain? No! If I know the place is safe I go in. Our God is the safest place and we can come to Him. Trust Him! Amen!
