A Great Purpose

He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
2 Timothy 1:9 HCSB

A holy calling! This does not feel saintly and you definitely do not realise what is happening at time. His purposes are holy and we are called to be holy (set apart).

As I get to know my Jesus and become absorbed in Him and his ways I make choices that are holy and not running with the rat pack.

At times challenges hit me front on like a tsunami and I am not ready with the right gear or the right answers.

Today I had three such occurrences and one was gut wrenching. Just when I think certain people get what it is to be holy they launch from left field with such arrogance and selfishness, then suddenly my mother has another ceribral episode before my eyes and it is unexpected then I come home to relay the process to family and I receive a call asking for money.

Methinks it is learning time. I might be back at uni but I am also back in attitude class. Holiness and meekness is the goal. Oh Lord!

By God's grace I change and overcome. Amen!
