A Royal Race
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 HCSB
When I consider the royal families of the world, they live a life apart as princes and princesses. One of Australia's own, Mary, became a royal when she married Prince Frederick of Denmark. Mary's life is what every little girl dreams of. Yet every little boy and girl are welcomed into the kingdom of God when they meet Christ.
Those that know Christ intimately are His royal princes and princesses. As royalty we must live as chosen and set apart ones. If Prince William, heir to the throne of England, failed to behave as royalty his subjects would rise up and reject him. His father Prince Charles had rejection when he divorced Diana. The people loved Diana and would not accept Charles treatment of her.
As Christ's chosen ones we must live a fragrant life that carries answers for the lost world we live in. We cannot abuse, steal and destroy and claim to be Christ's servants. Jesus told us who came to steal, kill and destroy and his name is Satan. Who does our behaviour represent, really? Then we must accept we are deceived if NOT Christ. Amen!
