HE Gets the Last Word!

Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.

Oh dear! I suffer more at my own hand than at the hands of others. Bad stuff happens to everyone but is how we handle it that matters.I know grace abounds if I just bother to hold emotions in check and ask.

Today was another stretching day. I am glad mobile phones give us the option to press green or red. It is better for people to wait than suffer rudeness.

Our modern generations is blessed in that we have options. Before the answer phone was invented, if you chose not to answer because you were busy you might miss an important call. Now we can beg people to go to voicemail and leave us a message, then we can get back to them when we are free. I prefer today for that reason.

Trying to do three jobs at once was a challenge but calls had to wait. I finished the day with three jobs done and not hurting anyone in the process. Praise God!

Oh to have the emotional intelligence of God! How patient He is! Just imagine Him telling you to wait your turn. How many million might be before you!

Our God has it all on hand! Amen!
