How Happy Is the Woman...

How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked or take the path of sinners or join a group of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the Lord ’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Although friends who worry about us are not wicked, they are also not competent to speak into our lives. If we are called to walk in faith and they watch from the sidelines worrying, wouldn't they best serve us by praying for us? I treasure the prayers of the saints of God, they are the wind beneath my wings.

My God leads me out on the water and in the midst of a storm. He is a better judge of my ability than others or me myself. This morning I decided to pray expansively. I said to the Lord: " I only have this much, let's do something awesome with it!" Next minute my phone rang and my son informed me the family would be at my home within 3 hours. They were actually 4 but hey, who's counting.

I tried riding a scooter down a steep hill today. What fun! I trekked to the top of the hill about three times, the ride down was thrilling. Yes if I fell I might have broken something, but I didn't and will do it again.

I needed time off from study and this was the best day. Seeing my grandchildren again was the best medicine. Thank You Lord! I took them all to visit my mum and she had a wonderful time with them.

My God knows me better than anyone else. He is so good! Amen!
