We Ought to Love One Another

My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love!
1 John 4:11‭-‬12 MSG

How do we get more of God? Love one another. As He is love, as we love, He is drawn to us, His Spirit inside of us is set on fire and we have a party, so to speak.

How do I love you? I get to know you and learn to understand you. I must give you room to be you. That is how I love you.

Jesus told us to love others as we love ourselves, selflessly. (Well.. that is the plan!) Not indulgently or obsessively but as I love myself. So... I cannot treat you as a nobody as each of us loves our own body( most do that is).

If I don't love myself I need to get to know how my God sees me and love what He loves. Easy!?
