Hearts

Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life. Proverbs 4:23

Our hearts are where we experience feelings. Our greatest delights are God orchestrated. Seeing a person come to Christ, experiencing a pink sky morning, an amazing and glorious sunset, a new born child or animal all fill us with with wonder and delight. Here we should worship!

Injustice and abuse fill us with anger and disgust. Here we should pray and interceed for those being hurt and justice and salvation for the perpetrators.

Sickness and disease striking the small and frail impact is, we should pray for them and give it to God.

As I said our hearts are where we feel but this should become an incence of prayer to our God. Our greatest weapon is prayer. We need to know that and do it. Harbouring all these feelings will make us sick, we are meant to pass them on to our God.

Let our hearts fill with praise to our God, this will sustain us. Amen!
