My Purpose

Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 HCSB

What is my goal? Paul urges me to look forward to heaven. All else will rot away. All else is fraught with difficulty. Earthly pursuits, unless they are God inspired and ordained are empty.

As I obey my God and do what I am called to do, I can often misinterpret the why. The outcome of unfolding of the future I must trust my God for.

Pursuing an easy life or possessions because they will make me feel good is not where it is at. What am I created for? What is my purpose? To spread the word of God. May His kingdom come, His will be done. Amen!
