Bread That Lasts

“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again.
John 6:35 HCSB

Jesus was being harassed by people who had been fed the loaves and fishes. They were demanding miracles and signs. They got off on a track talking about food, as Jesus had led them there because He was wanting them to know the above scripture.

In other words, He is all we need. In this world of house payments and car payments we would differ. To really understand where Jesus is coming from we need His divine help.

Jesus is not saying you dont need food and drink either, but rather hinting at a deeper truth. He has told us:" seek and you will find." The deeper things are there for such a purpose. Amen!
