Division

Now I urge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction.
1 Corinthians 1:10 HCSB

Division is only good when serving food or giving gifts. Being partial about beliefs or who we follow is carnal and is asking for strife. This is something little children might do, however adults need to have more self-control and consideration.

How do we become divisive? By becoming puffed up in our own estimation. When I do this I need to repent and spend more time alone with God and gain His perspective. Whilst on earth His only perspective was the Father's. He said He only did what He saw the Father do. I can read the gospels and see what the Son did and copy that behaviour. Amen!
