My Keeper

You will keep the mind that is dependent on You in perfect peace, for it is trusting in You.

Depending, needing, relying, all belong to God. Humans cannot be perfectly dependable, reliable and providers, they are flawed humans. However, no matter what the circumstance God is dependable.

As parents we want to be there for our children, but at times, circumstances prevent us. However, nothing gets in the way of Gods love towards us.


Godly friends are dependable, to the best of their abilities but, again, stuff happens. I just read how Billy Graham's daughter Anne has breast cancer. We could lambast God saying Billy and his family are so deserving of His protection from sickness. However, stuff happens to all of us, sickness is no respecter of persons. Yet what Anne will have, is a God who she can lean on and trust to walk with her through the valley of the shadow of death.

Jesus told his disciples that He was the giver of peace, as we lay His yoke upon our shoulders, He keeps us close. Amen!
