Seek HIM Always
Search for the Lord and for His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonderful works He has done, His wonders, and the judgments He has pronounced,
1 Chronicles 16:11-12 HCSB
The above scripture is King Davis's words to the priests when the ark of the covenant had been brought back to Israel. David instructs Asap and the other priests. We read many psalms with Asap's name attributed to them so we can assume Asap did as he was commanded.
In the New Testament we have many instructions in the epistles written by the apostle Paul. One is: rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Philippians 4:4
David would agree with Paul. As we come before Him today let us search for the Lord and His strength. Let it not be coffee or chocolate that fuels us but our God Himself.
I search for you Lord as I look for your strength and glory today, you are my breath, my smile, my song, my joy! Amen!
