Fundamental Fact of Existence

The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.

If we build upon the rock, we have a firm foundation, the words of Jesus. If we based all our life on His first sermon on the mount we would do well. He covered everything that is important.

We can complicate things too much. Our God is straight and simple yet very profound. We can come to Him as little children and be safe and taught by Him.

Today I had the joy of finding a wonderful Nepali church to take our unsaved Nepali friends to. It was a good service and the pastor is a good man of God. I can trust him with our friends and he welcomed then in. I know the boys will be safe there.

We spent lunch together and this afternoon time in friendship as I taught them a card game I brought from Australia. Such lovely people. Thank You Lord!
