Loving Others

If anyone boasts, “I love God,” and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won’t love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can’t see? The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You’ve got to love both.

There are so many causes wanting our support, there is so much opinion on social media but what is really important? According to God: love me with all your heart, soul and mind; love your brother and sister as yourself. Simple! Therefore we must allow God to dictate the terms and priorities and turn down the noise.

Loving others means thinking good of them; speaking good of them and behaving good to them.

Opinion is just that. Often highly inflated by hot emotion. Where is the truth in emotion?
