Wickedness Corrupts

Righteousness guards people of integrity, but wickedness undermines the sinner.
Proverbs 13:6 HCSB

Wickedness undermines. What starts out as a little here and a little there can become a consuming disaster. There is no such thing as a little wicked for the length of one's life. A little leven levens the whole lump. A little bit of wickedness corrupts good character.

Better to stay with righteousness and be guarded by it.

If you recognize you have been caught in wickedness, repent. No sin is too big for God to forgive. Repent and turn again to right living.

Let's pray: dear Lord forgive me for running with wickedness. I feel dirty and ask you to cleanse me and fill me anew with your Holy Spirit. Amen!
