Don't Give Up!

So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

Getting tired is normal but staying refreshed is not. Staying refreshed is done through habit, being consistent is done through habit. Staying in God refreshes us, abiding in Him sees His life flow come to us.

I have many beautiful shrubs as I love gardening. However I have noticed that even a branch from my strongest, most beautiful bush cannot sustain itself when cut from the bush. We have had continuous very hot weather. The cut branch withers and dies without the connection to sustenance provided by the roots and trunk.

No matter how powerful a Christian we are, in isolation we shrivel and die through lack of communion with the saints.

There are many 'do gooders' in our communities and they last longer and maintain their fire with support and a team. In isolation they will burn up, become jaded and scarred.

So, consistent endurance is done best with others. Look after your others. Amen!
