Wanting, Wanting, Wanting

Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.

Wanting, wanting, wanthing is on the way out! How good is that to know. The smell of finance to someone who has not had it and wanting starts. However, spending time plotting and thinking about such things takes over. How about asking the Father instead. If it is His desire for you He will delight in bringing it to you as a surprise. Surprises are good!

Remember love of the world and the things of the world squeeze God out. Not a good fit! Remember to make your requests to God and leave them there he will do it! Amen!
