A New Heart

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26 HCSB

Such a promise! This is given to Israel. God was going to bring His people home from all the nations they had been scattered and give them a new heart. However, for us who have come into new life in Christ, who are 'born again' we acknowledge that we have a new heart towards God, His word and others.

I remember the day my new life began and am so grateful. I went from knowing about God to knowing Him as a friend. His life in me holds me, keep a me and leads me.

Today this new life longs for fellowship and the communion of the saints. There is power in corporate worship and prayer, there is cohesion in corporate worship and prayer. It is good for your soul!
