Blessed

You bless all those who follow your commands from deep in their hearts
Psalms 119:2 CEV

When we do something from deep in our hearts, we are committed, we treasure. Jesus said: where your treasure is your heart will be also.

There are two commands the New Testament gives us: love God with all your heart and love your fellow man as yourself. Jesus said these cover all the previous 10. He was saying if we really get the loving right we will honour God and man out of love, not law.

So, this scripture tells us we are blessed when we get loving right. Loving is so important. Paul tells us: love covers a multitude of sin. Not that God sins, others do, as we do.

If you want a blessed life, love like God loves. Amen!
