Confessing
Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn’t rain, and it didn’t—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.
James 5:16-18 MSG
Oh...... can I confess my grief? I had a young woman, 18, just, who attends my church and assists me in kids club say: abortion is ok if you are raped or poor. I am passionate for the unborn. If we do not protect them who will? I was quite angry and had to let it go. I am sure she has the teenage thing of not liking adults tell them which way is up so hammering her is not wise. I must pray and leave it with God.
I am very saddened with the superficiality of my country and the feel goodism that prevails. One minute they rise up against muslims and the next against those who harm them. If any of it was sincere then it would be a place to start, but it is not. Noone cares about their neighbour any more.
This feel good religion persecutes those who help them, those that stand for righteousness and the pure in heart. Those who love truth are called bigots. No opinion other than feel goodism is allowed or 'off with your head!'
Have mercy Lord! Forgive us our sinful ways! Amen!
