Death Valley

Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure. Psalm 23:4 MSG

Today I read of the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria and how a group of children had a dream that Jesus would save them as they faced the firing squad the next day if their mothers refused to recant. They stood before the firing squad and the soldiers screamed. The children saw the angels.

Unfortunately their Fathers were killed the day before. Perhaps someone was praying. Who knows? God alone!

We hear many such stories of rescue and similarly many of slaughter. I know we need to be faithful in prayer, we never know who we might be rescuing.

Even though we are safe we still need to pray for those who are not. Amen!
