His Ways

“I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God ’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.
Isaiah 55:8‭-‬11 MSG

One very good thing about the Message Bible is you are always well fed.

I am constantly amazed at how God works. Today I spent 2 hours with a year 5 group of children, gardening and then cooking. I loved it. What I loved most was watching God in these little hearts. I was surprised at those who knew the answers and those who were most helpful.

One big surprise was a little girl, who looked like a boy, dressed like a boy and acted like a boy, yet was a girl. She invited me to sit beside her, which I did. I saw the soft little person inside. Another, part aboriginal boy told me a little of his story. He lived with his dad and it seems does most of the cooking. He told me how to relieve pain with lemongrass. He learnt this while living in the outback. I saw his softness as well. I think I am going to enjoy this role.

Oh! If only you go and let God show you where He is working. What a treasure it is. How joyful it is to work for Him.

Try it!
