Heavenly Glory
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a groom coming from the bridal chamber; it rejoices like an athlete running a course. It rises from one end of the heavens and circles to their other end; nothing is hidden from its heat. Psalms 19:1-6 HCSB
I am awake early to watch the sunrise each day( now, as winter approaches it is later and later, in summer it is very early), and sit in the cool of the evening to watch the sun set. It is peaceful and full of glory. The Lord displays His splendour. I particularly like the sunrise as it fill me with worship as the sky begins to colour pink, before the sun actually shows itself. The colour spreads and drops on the hills like pink rain. It is majestic to behold. How glorious! I so enjoy it all.
At sunset the Lord loves to show off. I will whisper, "how beautiful!" And the beauty spreads, the intensity deepens and my heart soars. It is so good to take time to worship the Lord in His place. Scripture tells us that the heavens are God's to rule. He does this so well. He gave us the earth to rule. We do not do this so well. Imagine at dawn and dusk we created a reminded of the glory of God!
How marvelous, how wonderful is my saviour's love for me!
