My Weapon

For though we live in the body, we do not wage war in an unspiritual way, since the weapons of our warfare are not worldly, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to obey Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬5 HCSB

Most of out battles begin in us: we resent or are offended at the behaviour of others; we exult at the demise of others; we become jealous of others; we become angry with others. Therefore, we can start pulling down all these strongholds in ourselves.

Love covers a multitude of sins. If we look at the characteristics of love we see:

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited, does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs. Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬7

We overcome evil with good. In Christ I can apply all His love to all the situations that aggravate me. Then I also benefit and become a nicer person. Amen!
