No One Like You

Because of Your word and according to Your will, You have revealed all these great things to Your servant. This is why You are great, Lord God . There is no one like You, and there is no God besides You, as all we have heard confirms.
2 Samuel 7:21‭-‬22 HCSB

David is sitting before the Lord, recounting all He had done for David and asking Him for all He had promised. In the next chapter David goes forth as a mighty warrior and defeats all his enemies, subduing them all.

In our current chapter David says to the Lord: "Who am I and who is my family and who is the nation of Israel that you should choose us?" Of all the people on earth God chose the Jews to be His people. In Jesus He opened the door to everyone else. So, now I can say: "who am I Lord that you would choose me?" I am the eldest of 6 and have known Him since I was 19. I was the only one for many years and now one brother believes.

What ever the reason God has chosen you for the task He has given you. Are you walking in it? What are the promises you can claim fro the Lord?

Our God is good. HE has a plan. Amen!
