Not What it Appears?

We justify our actions by appearances; God examines our motives. Proverbs 21:2 MSG

Ooh! We do so respond to appearances. We love a heart tugging story or video clip! Yet we can all attest to being caught in these. Yet God does not get caught unaware.

How can we become wiser in such matters? Perhaps not relying on our own instincts but prayerfully weighing up the facts, doing some research. I have a friend that tends to do this and it has helped me many times.

Allowing God to prompt our hearts and laying matters before Him is also a good idea. The bible talks a lot about wisdom, seek it, pray for it and it will be yours. Amen!
