God Can Do it Again!

And now, God , do it again— bring rains to our drought-stricken lives So those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing. Psalm 126:4‭-‬6 MSG

Miracles are God's departments. Ours is to continue in faithfulness, giving and sowing seed. We cannot dictate to God our timescale. He tells us: My ways are not your ways.

God knew His people would end up in bondage in Egypt. Yet it took 400 years for them to be set free. God told Moses: "I have heard the cries of My people." Thry were not, initially, slaves. The Pharoah who knew them and respected Joseph, welcomed them. Yet scripture tells us that after this Pharoah died the next one did not know Joseph or care for their relationship.

I wonder how many years they were actually slaves? Nevertheless it was a while.

We have to trust our God! Amen!
