If we think that receiving the Holy Spirit is difficult or that we need to be especially holy, then we are mistaken.
Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit after He returned to heaven. He laid out no criteria then the initial disciples had to wait and pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Nowadays He comes very easily to hungry hearts. The hungrier we are the more He is willing to pour into us.
Hunger = provision. Read the book of Acts and see what having the Holy Spirit did for those who found Him.
