Our hearts are the prizes; both God and Satan seek them. Who will we give them to? God instructed His people to love Him with all their hearts, souls and minds; Satan stole Adam and Eve's heart, by deception and he continues to do it today.
Often people think they are doing neither but rather loving what they choose, however, this is exactly the deception Satan used on Adam and Eve, to distrust God and trust their own judgement. It saw them cast out from Eden and removed from fellowship with God.
Every day, every moment of every day, we face the choice: who will I serve? who will I love?
If we live intentionally with our eyes wide open we will see the divide accurately. What does God stand for and move that way? Amen!
