I really don't know where the saying: 'mum's the word', came from but for me, it has always been, 'keep quiet', no talking.
Moses was instructing the children of Israel, who we caught between the army of Egypt and the Red Sea. God was about to do a mighty miracle and Moses did not want grumbling or complaining. This is a good lesson for us. God is about to do a great thing. We need to keep quiet if we cannot praise.
Remember: 'Mum's the Word!'
