Pray, Ask, Believe

I am crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live I live by faith in the One who set me free. Galatians 2:20

I live by faith. Just as I live through breathing air, I live as a Christian by faith in all God's promises. Just as I butter my bread, I must take up the promises and spread them over my life.

As we mature in Christ, the field of play changes and become more difficult. Our opponents are bigger, hairier, nastier but they are all defeated in Christ.

I have a son who becomes so engrossed in what he is doing, especially if he is needing to be creative. His children have to persist in asking to get his attention at times. It is interesting to see who perseveres and who receives.

How determined are we to receive? Jesus said: knock and keep on knocking, ask and keep on asking and you will receive. Like 11:9-13.
