With every promise our God makes there is a requirement that I pick it up and make it mine. I need to open the gifts my God gives.
Scientists understand osmosis: the process by which a stronger salty liquid draws a weaker one through a membrane. The promises of God do not become reality in my life by osmosis, I must pick them up in faith. Faith is the ingredient that makes things mine.
Faith in itself is a powerful gift, it is mine. Faith is the active tool I use to apprehend all God's promises. Faith is full of the power of God.
The promises of God are like electrical tools. They don't work until plugged into the power socket but they are awesome in connection with faith. Faith is the plug. Our God is power.
