My Shepherd
The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. Psalms 23:1-2 HCSB https://bible.com/bible/72/psa.23.1-2.hcsb
Living in rural Australia I see sheep often. Shepherds here, at present, are hand-feeding their sheep, as we are in a drought.
I saw on the news that some local women are adopting the lambs, knitting them jackets and bottle feeding them, we'll that is different! However, they are being very well looked after.
Shepherds, or farmers, as we call them here, tend to their sheep, as they are their livelihood. Jesus tends to us because we are His own.
Jesus has pastures for us to feed on and lie down in, we should allow Him to lead us. Our pastures are our spiritual homes. We need to belong. Find a home and stay there. It is good for your soul. Amen!
