He Watches Over Me

Unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain; unless the Lord watches over a city, the watchman stays alert in vain. Psalms 127:1 HCSB https://bible.com/bible/72/psa.127.1.hcsb

Today I travelled for 5 hours for a post op consult with my surgeon. I left my mum at home, at her request. "I have arranged Peter(my brother) to call me several times today, I will be fine, " she said.

I received a call at 2pm from a group called Vitacall, we pay for a service whereby mum wears an alarm she can press if in danger. She had fallen on the floor and could not get herself up. I knew there was nothing I could do, except pray and so I gave it to the Lord.

Mum called me an hour later to tell me she was fine. The ambulance came and the paramedics picked her up, checked her over and at her insistence left her at home.

When I returned home this evening I discovered Mum had crawled to her room to try and pull herself up and failed.

Having Vitacall is like having the Lord. He is our help in time of need. Mum now knows the system works and feels more independent. We experience this with our God and it leads to greater faith. Amen!
