One God

For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy 2:5‭-‬6 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/1ti.2.5-6.NLT

What a good message! I am grateful there is only One God. You may argue: I thought there was three. No, three in One.

Just as I have a body, a soul and a spirit: I am three in One. Each part is distinct. My body you see, my soul you hear(this my mind, will and intellect) my spirit you may sense, it is the power within.

A Christian has a powerful, dynamic Spirit, one filled with the Spirit of God. As we let the spirit lead and grow in godliness it shines as it is meant to. My spirit is not how I feel, it is how I am connected to my God. It is how I sense Him.

As a Christian I carry this reconciliation around with me, seeking to bring others into reconciliation to their saviour. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
